Pastor Ken Drake
Ken grew up in a Christian home as the son of a Village Missions pastor. At the age of five, he came to know the Lord following an evangelistic sermon preached by his father. After high school, he attended Multnomah Bible College where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies.
After graduating from Multnomah, he attended Western Oregon State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education. As he worked in his chosen field, he continued his formal training to earn a Masters Degree in Education, also from WOSU. He spent eight years as the Bible Teacher and Varsity Basketball Coach at North Clackamas Christian School in Oregon City. For 20 years, he served as Youth Pastor at Clackamas Bible Church where his ministry was to train and equip youth to be active, mature and faithful followers of Christ. He currently serves as Lead Pastor at Clackamas Bible Church where his passion is to see members strengthened and supported. Ken married his wife Patty in 1984, and they have four grown children and four grandchildren. Patty works for Adventist Medical Center in Portland. In his free time, Ken enjoys playing sports such as golf, tennis, and basketball. He also enjoys spending time with his children and their families in whatever activities they may be involved in. |
