Ken grew up in the northwest in the home of a Village
Missions pastor. He trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as his
Savior at age 5 after hearing the gospel message
preached by his father in a Sunday morning service. He
desires to see other people come to a saving knowledge
of the Savior and to grow in the knowledge and grace of
Jesus Christ. His passion in ministry is to work with
youth, to train and equip them to be active, mature and
faithful followers of Christ.
Ken married his wife Patty in 1984, and they have 4
children. Patty is currently a part-time staff member of
the church where she works in Information and Technology
Services. Patty is also a partner with Ken is ministry
to the youth at Clackamas Bible.
Ken attended Multnomah Bible College where he earned a
Bachelors degree in Biblical Studies. After graduating
from Multnomah, he attended Western Oregon State College
where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in
Secondary Education. As he worked in his chosen field,
he continued his formal training to earn a Masters
Degree in Education, also from WOSC. He spent 8 years as
the Bible teacher and Varsity Basketball Coach at North
Clackamas Christian School in Oregon City while he
worked as part-time Youth Pastor at CBC. In 1997, Ken
became a full-time staff member at CBC.
In his free time, Ken enjoys playing sports such as
golf, tennis, and basketball. He also enjoys going to
his children’s sporting events, concerts and other
school activities.
